Alexis & Alliyah, what precious babies! They were born premature and have had a rough time over the past 8 months. In fact Alliyah was released from the hospital a week before these photos were taken. Alexis was sound asleep when they arrived at the studio and it took her Mother several minutes to wake her up. Once she was awake we tried our best to get the girls to smile….. we sang, we clapped, we waved hands we even danced a little, but these two were not impressed by our craziness. Considering the health of these sweet little girls I am pleased with the photos we shot. We plan to take them again on their 1st Birthday….I’ll be practing my dance routine before then and hope to get some smiles!
How precious!
Oh My Gosh they are so incredibly darling!
Great job on these photos, Lana! I especially like the BW with the one child sleeping. I laughed at your comments about trying to get them to smile.
WOW!!!!! Is all I can say!
These pictures remind me of my lil girl. She was born at 24wks (4months early) weighing 1 lb. 3.8oz and was sent home on oxygen too. After her heart surgery she did alot better. She is now 2 1/2 and you would never guess she was that small. I would love for you to do some pictures for us.Those lil girls are so cute. God Bless them and their family.
Happy Monday Everyone….okay it’s actually Tuesday 1:00 am. This seems to be a habit now, I start working on the blog late evening and find myself already into the next day before I’m finished. It’s just I enjoy it so much I find it hard to find a stopping place. Today, I mean yesterday, was a wonderful day for me. I was able to spend it with two of my all time favorite people in the whole entire world, my Mom & Dad. My parents will celebrate their 49th Anniversary this summer. They are salt of the earth and go over and beyond the call of duty as parents. Mom is proving this first hand as you will see in the following pictures and so was Dad because he stepped in when asked. I thought it would be nice to have a before and after shoot for Mother and I. It’s been a long since she and I have had photos taken together and I wanted a few more pictures to use for Before and After advertising. I must give special thanks to my Hair and Makeup Artist Renee Byrd, as she “beautified” Mom and Me for the before and after shoot….and of course Thank You Mom for letting me post pictures of you without Makeup, you’re the BEST MOM EVER and still so PRETTY!!
Thanks Dad for taking pictures of Mom and I with a camera you didn’t have a clue how to operate! I have to admit you did pretty good,

The Mardi Gras Parade at Pier Park on Panama City Beach was a HUGE success today. Even with the wind blowing (and temps in the 50′s) it did not stop the masses from coming out to take part in all the fun. Next weekend will be the St. Andrews Mardi Gras Parade here locally so get ready for another great weekend! If you’re not a local consider coming to Panama City and join us for a fun filled day!
great shots, baby!
How long has it been going on?
It looks like a LOT of fun! Thanks for sharing the pictures.
